The Mount

In fact St Michael's Mount in Cornwall which is where we ended up this evening.

Earlier we parked up by the boating lake in Helston and walked through most of Penrose Walks but had to divert before Loe Bar following a recent landslide. We must have done about 4 miles to get to Porthleven, which was holding its annual Lifeboat Day. It's a pity that it was shrouded in mist, at least until we caught the bus back just before 15:00. Still, there were plenty of stalls to browse, various things going on in the harbour and we had very decent lunch too.
