First Of The Season

Saturday started with the Falmouth & Penryn Veterans Breakfast Club meet up for all four of us. This month it was the turn of the Upperdeck Restaurant at Falmouth Marina. Eleven of us met for a great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company, so much so that it was midday before we left.
It was a quick journey home before Joshua and I walked to the rugby club, Samantha set off to spend the evening with her friend Katie before heading to Paignton Zoo tomorrow.
Josh was running the line today for five twenty minute periods of play so that all players could get a shot at selling themselves.
Clare joined me and in the beautiful afternoon sun we watched the rugby and drank a lot of beer. It was great to see Joshua relaxing amongst his friends, old and new, and the day reminded me about all that is good at our rugby club.
