Played 2 sets of tennis this morning in slightly blustery drizzly conditions.

Late lunch and am expecting a few friends over shortly to watch hurling final between Galway and Limerick (Margaret will be here - a staunch Limerick woman).

We then plan to watch Pride & Prejudice and order a few pizzas from the place in Cabinteely.

Because of the Ironman in Dun Laoghaire there are widespread road closures in this general area - even road to Enniskerry/Roundwood is inaccessible ... so a leisurely day reading the newspapers, watching the match, chatting is called for.

Next weekend the Pope is coming to Ireland so more road closures and the ukulelehooligans will be coming in their droves clogging up the coffeehouses and making us all happy.
