Doo'cot...

I remember seeing these built on every bit of waste ground when I was growing up. You see them in Glasgow... This one has stood there for several years since I've lived in the area... Pigeons are called doos and these get called doo'cots. I don't know if that's how you would spell it as you don't see these things written down.

The other thing I noticed was that the newest, shiniest sign on local shops was the the one of the local criminal lawyer - the only growth industry in this economic climate. That was kind of sad.

In spite of all of that I had a lovely walk with my previously blipped beloved, in the really fresh cold air. We followed it up with really yummy soup.
