Dufton Water Supply

Having read up on the historic water supply in the village, photographing all of the “Four reservoirs and taps”, and the fountain just had to be a project.  So on the last day Mrs W and I set out and photographed five reservoirs and taps and the fountain . . .
 
If you follow this link and download the pdf (link below “Dufton Water Supply” near the bottom of the page) the writer actually admits to an extra trough/reservoir at “location 5”.
 
Dinner at the Stag tonight then home in the morning!  A grand weeks family holiday – two grandchildren, two children, four parents and a dog (or looking at it a different way, two children, two parents and four grandparents – AND a Biskit!).
