In Brief, for once...

Fried Rice

Every time I make fried rice I remember with a sense of irony the first time I ever made it. It was at Liz Clarke's house when I was about 15, and my friends and I were young leaders in the guides or something. Let us just say the result was something slightly different from anything any of us had ever seen in a Chinese restaurant . It burned and stuck to the pan, but we declared it a success and ate it anyway.

If I'd known then where I'd be spending my adult life, I might have tried harder!

I have to give M more than she can eat when I put it in her lunch these days, as she has to share it with her mates, so I must be better at it than I was then I suppose!

Haha!
