I wonder what happened..

to our feathered friend.  I  went for an early walk by one of the lakes this morning and as I approached a parking area I thought someone had left rubbish on the road but as I got closer I could see it was a multitude of feathers strewn everywhere.  It's hard to think what may have happened but I guess it's the harsh reality of life and nature.
