Flip and Catch

I got to go to the ocean twice today. Lisa didn't feel too good, so off I went. She rested up.

I caught this fishing snowy egret hanging out on the docking rope. I am real jealous of her balance. Dive..dive...dive...and...I would say...4 out of 5...coming up with small fish.

Then the real fun started. The egret would spear the fish...rearrange it in it's mouth...then a quick flip down the hatch. And...I mean quick.

I probably took close to 300 shots. I caught the fish flip on 4 of them, and was probably lucky to get those.

After lunch...Lisa felt better, so we headed back to the shore. She rode my clown bike along the bike/walking path, while I walked. We then went to 2 different places to take a walk, and to watch the sun go down.

Again...I put WAY too many pictures on my Flickr page. But...since we're flying home on Saturday night...I figure I better get 'em on while I can.

Squiirrels, bathing birds, Lisa on the bike, flowers, a tourist in tie-dye, and an old lady and an old man chasing the birds.

Please don't tell anybody we chased the birds. I know it is breaking the rules of proper bird photography etiquette...but...I felt like a 6 year old again.

Flip it into LARGE to see the flip.
