Animal House

Today is the 40th anniversary of the filming of the parade scene in Animal House, that irreverent, hilarious classic film of the 70s. While most of the film was shot in Eugene, the parade was shot in Cottage Grove, a few miles south. Of particular interest: The fire truck in the shot, I am about 99% certain my dad sold that to Cottage Grove back in the 60s. Today, even the dogs wore togas. Crazy Oregon celebration today. TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!
