A most enjoyable time playing on the boat; as usual some visitors pop aboard - EddieN and JimmyH. The big debate - to keep the holding tank, or not.
But later, deciding we were sorely in need of a blast of fun, there was only one show in town: Mamma Mia 2 of course. Much better than I feared, which begs the question of how bad I thought it might be.
And then back to Leith Theatre. We need this place. And first up, Linton Kwesi Johnson: heard in absolute respectful silence. Just immense. A real privilege to hear him.
And after that, we had the Vaselines who were appropriately fab. The Pastels though, were quite pish really, and we were quite happy to stroll off into the night.
