Shop avoidance

To avoid the Fort Kinnaird shopping experience I dropped Mrs S and Eve off, then wandered across the road to the old church that’s now Craigmillar Community Arts Centre. Obviously the heritage bricks caught my attention.

Later, there was no avoiding a pet bed shop and some new towels also needed to be bought.

Home to sit down with Joe and watch a very entertaining match between Chelsea and the Arse.

A wee bit of whisky tasting later and Eve had a very small dram of her first Islay whisky. I don’t think it’ll be the last. The clincher was when I gave her a piece of applewood smoked cheese to try alongside it. A match made in whisky heaven.
