Surfer Girl

When we woke up this morning in Hawaii for the first time we knew it was going to be an awesome day - and it was! In fact Ron said, I bet today will be the best day of our trip - I think he was right.

Basically we just sat on the beach all day. I know that probably sounds super boring but it was just what we wanted. My parents were off touring another remote island so it was just us. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella for shade, Ron went surfing, I sat and watched Alana in the sand and read (when she napped on me), we people watched, we occasionally got up for a snack and a mai tai . . . in summary, it was totally great - I felt the stress of every day life just melt with every wave that crashed on the shore.
