This comment is addressed to Crispin25, or anyone with a panorama setting on their camera.  Is it better not to pan the full 180 degrees?  I seem to get a better proportioned photo that way.  None of the ones I took today were worth preserving for posterity, and some reminded me of a certain politician's comments about letter boxes.  Or maybe Prince Philip and his slitty eyes.  Do you think those two get on well together?
