Equals

Cardiff City FC played Newcastle United with the kick-off at 12.30pm as it was broadcast on Sky TV.  Cardiff were by far the better side, and despite Newcastle having a player sent off, the score stayed at 0-0..........thanks to a penalty save by Cardiff keeper Neil Etheridge in the last minute: A penalty that should never have been given in my opinion. (bottom photograph)

The highlight of the day was for the Murphy family who'd travelled from afar to see twins Josh Murphy (Cardiff City) and Jacob Murphy (Newcastle) play against each other for the first time in the Premier League. (The top photo shows them together during play)

So with twins and a draw it was a day of Equals.
