Fast flowing water

Today we visited the wildlife otter hide at Roskill on the west of the Island.  Unfortunately we were unable to see any otters while we were there, but we have seen them near to the burn that flows at the back of the house where we are living.  This small ferry which sails across what I think is Loch Bracadale had a really difficult time reaching the mooring on the other side. Perhaps every journey is like that. 
The extra shot is almost unknown in Scotland as it is so seldom we would ever have a water shortage.
