Bedded down

A short walk this morning, which included cutting back some of the brambles in the community orchard.

This lunchtime and afternoon has been taken up with grandchildren and this evening we're going out for a meal with some of our neighbours.

I was rather amused to see a ladybird fast asleep inside the top of one of the knapweed flowers that had gone over.  Very silly.
