Excellent, what a start to the weekend. Up and out early we were checked in just after 1pm, had a quick couple of beers and then scaled the tower.

Well worth the wait and climb..

After a quick drink stop we went to a local restaurant for dinner. We might have let it slip that it's my birthday, cake, wine and Calvados were all on the house which was lovely. I might have had to drink nearly everyone else's Calvados, it's a hard life.

A walk down the Champs Elysees and along the river and then back for a brandy.

Cracking day.
