The centrepiece of tonight's dinner table at the Signet Library where I was speaking at an event organised by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Apparently, if you store candles in the fridge they burn down evenly instead of in this gloriously haphazard way. Why would you want that though if you owned such splendid candelabra?
