Sempervivum

I’ve had this plant on my balcony for ages and have just discovered it’s called Sempervivum, which, the internet tells me, means always living.

My step mother, Wendy, died on 27th July. Having lost both my mother and father in recent years, I didn’t expect to feel so sad when Wendy died, but then again she was married to my Dad for 30 years. I guess I just really feel for my step brother and step sister too.
