The Vyne

A torrential morning of rain almost out paid to our plans for the Vyne this afternoon.

C went to his hol club morning while we had our friends Joshua and Jemma over to chat/play, quick lunch and we headed to the Vyne to meet my auntie and uncle - kitted out with all wellies and wet gear.

We were so lucky, the sun came out and we had a fab afternoon of exploring and a bonus for the children - there were huge puddles everywhere!! We did tree rubbings, a puzzle treasure hunt, walked all around the lake, had afternoon tea and finished up on the playground. Phewf.

Home for homemade curry at ours and 2 tired little ones into bed!!
