Sudden Storm!

The August heat wave was abruptly ended today, when we had an amazingly heavy rainstorm, with thunder, lightning and a few hailstones, thrown into the mix!
The most intense part of the storm lasted about 30 minutes.....at lunch time
My Blip shows the immediate results of the storm, on the Levante Beach.....
the heavy rain from the nearby hills, as well as the rain in the town and on the beach, is channeled into the sea....

The good news is that sun was soon shining again this afternoon,
and some of the 90 strong beach cleaning team were quickly at work, restoring the beach to its usual standard! .....
and by tomorrow, the visitors will hardly know that we’d had a sudden storm!
