Self seeded

i was amazed when this lovely flower appeared in one of my pots.  Courtesy of the birds or squirrels I think!  It's particularly vibrant at the moment.

I was going to Blip our handiwork of the day - but the flower was more beautiful than the newly painted roof of the summer house, the bench and the swept steps.  

Mom didn't get to the hairdressers today for the second week running.  Dad decided to go to get some hearing aid batteries from the hospital hearing centre and got caught in traffic so was too late home. I suggested that he could have phoned me.  I have been asking him to go to get the batteries for two weeks now.  It's getting more and more difficult lately.  I think we will get the batteries sent in the post in future!
