Cairo Arrival

Back in Cairo again! Early start for Bb and I this morning as I had to be at the airport by 5.00am and although his flight to Rio (via Madrid) was a bit later we decided to go together and he was able to see me off at my gate! I always get butterflies when we part and no exception this morning. Anyway, now here, a bit tired, but all unpacked, comfort food and drink in the fridge, bottled water supply bought, new Egyptian sim card bought for my little mb to use here and an extension bought to make up for the lack of plug points in the hotel room. Internet on my laptop and iphone both set up anc working. I requested the room I had last time and got it, so that's nice as it has a balcony and Nile view. Mosque so the calls to prayer are pretty close! Just waiting for Bb to call now to say he's landed safely in Rio. 11.30pm my time, 8.30pm Rio time.... I think! Tomorrow being Friday is the first day of the weekend, so time to settle in before prepping the course on Saturday for a Sunday start.
