Erm we forgot to bring a baby
Today Madame and I had a day off work. It has been a while we have tried to coordinate some rare days off so that we do things like we did when we didn't have distractions.
We went to the cinema, it was a pretty hard film but it was pretty exceptional, Bone and Rust, I would recommend for sure, unless you don't really go for some gritty stuff. The amusing moment was when we went to go into the theatre with our tickets, the seance was kind of parents with infants only, something we were not aware of. Next time we will borrow a baby for the morning.
After that we went into town, stopped off at the ECA for an exhibition where we spoke with an artist from San Francisco, Patrick Lydon. I liked his approach, we were looking at his work when we started chatting to him, not knowing who he was.
Then lunch at Ecco Vino, nice food shame about the service. Then it was to the Galapagos exhibition at the Fruitmarket. A mixed bag to be fair but I discovered another artist, well collective Semiconductor, whose work was very inspiring.
Then home to pick up our neighbour who was taken into hospital last night. Thankfully all is well, but an unpleasant experience all round.
