lou & tasha

My friend Lou brough her daughter tash over to see me today to cheer me up, tasha was showing me her first swimming medal she had won :-). Tasha is going to be reciting a poem at a school even later this month and gave me a fantastic sneak peak at her up and coming performance....she will knock there socks off :-), it is a lovely poem called:
A Dragonfly by Eleanor Farjoen

When the heat of the summer
Made drowsy the land,
A dragon-fly came
And sat on my hand,
With its blue jointed body,
And wings like spun glass,
It lit on my fingers
As though they were grass.
