Doing what comes naturally

I'm not quite sure where last weekend or the following week has gone, and somehow there hasn't been any time (or imperative) to pick up the camera. So here we are at the end of my working week and my customary Thursday evening stroll with camera became a quick dash around the garden looking for suitable subjects for today's abstract challenge set by Ingeborg.

In the event, the challenge was forgotten as I spotted these Shieldbugs enjoying each other's company on a fig leaf (... don't go there!).
