Only had a 1-hour lesson at College LV, which meant quadruple the amount of time travelling as teaching :\. For the first part of the lesson, the class were learning about refugees, and were looking at a photo of some children with suitcases with the caption 'London, 1939'. The teacher asked them 'how do we know whether they are Jews? How could people tell if you were Jewish at the time?' to which one boy replied (completely seriously) 'euh... maybe we can look at their noses?' Casual racism.
