And there are plenty of quaint back-road visitor attractions in Scotland that you won't find in run-of-the-mill tourist guides.
Like the world's shortest street, the world's tallest hedge, and the fish and chip shop that invented the deep fried Mars Bar.
Not to mention The Pineapple.
