On with the show

Like most of the country i woke to find lots of snow all over the place and when i got to work my worst nightmares came true.
As i drive car transporters for a living i need to see out of the cars in order to drive them safely , or in some cases not so safely , onto the decks before strapping them down .
This is where it all goes to pot as i need to remove the snow before loading and its cold and very wet work, non more so than when you open the car door and half the snow from the cars roof decides to park itself on the drivers seat. Now not only are my hands and feet cold but my backside is freezing and soaking wet also.
Not the perfect start to a Monday morning, oh the joys of having 38 tonnes of steel going in the opposite direction from the way i want to go.
Still look on the bright side , at least its not English snow that seems to grind everywhere to a halt as soon as you pass Carlisle.
