Road closed due to snow

An early start in an attempt to get on the downhill slopes at Glenshee was thwarted by drifting snow on the A93 north of Blairgowrie. After a bit of faffing with a snowplough and snow gates, the decision was made to retreat and find some forest trails for some Nordic skiing. The blip is of the retreat south.

As I write this (13:56), the Traffic reports are still saying the snow gates are closed so I feel better about my decision.
