Lindisfarne

The best day of the week, I loved the trip to Lindisfarne from the trip across the causeway to coming off.  Beautiful island, peaceful even with the tourists.  Hearing the seals off the beach (top left) St Mary's church, the priory and the castle (top right), the minstrels playing in the priory all were great.  I loved the art work and the coffee and cake I had were very tasty.  Also visited the lifeboat station which is not in use now but has a display inside.
After this I went to Bamburgh Castle which I liked but nowhere near as much as Lindisfarne.  Also some of my photos have disappeared into  thin air so had to make do with these!
Finally I have caught up with my photos and will try and catch up with  yours:)
