Sgwarnog: In the Field

Rise

We popped down the hill and up the valley to Bingley for the afternoon.

I'd managed to forget where the entrance to Myrtle Park was, but we  arrived eventually after a short riverside stroll, passing a group of seven make Goosander along the way. After a visit to the playground and a game of football we walked up the canal and enjoyed a good Kingfisher sighting before finding a pair of narrowboats mid-ascent at Five-Rise Locks.

After the compulsory cafe stop we carried on the canal a bit further through an unscheduled downpour before dropping down to Crossflats and the train home.
