Broad Street

Work is still not completed in Broad Street, though it is now open to buses.

I noticed a fountain has been installed next to the statue of Robert the Bruce. This is much to the delight to the children who were running through the fountain, and probably getting quite wet.

I think the two men on the right are testing the fountain, using a computer to turn it off and on as well as change the height of the jets of water. The jets were only about 10 cms or so high as I took the photograph, but they had been as much as a meter a few minutes before. It is likely the parents will have had some quite wet children to take home.
