Return to Dartmoor - Day 1

I joined the usual Tuesday walk with my old friends starting from the  railway station at Okehampton. We followed the Tarka Trail beside East Okement River and then up to Lower Halstock. Down to the open moor where some took a dip in the river. This is just north of Cullever Steps. It looked very cold to me and they confirmed it by not staying in for very long. We returned via Scarey Tor and West Cleeve Tor. Coffee and a cream tea in the station tearoom as the sun finally came out. 

It was absolutely great to be back and felt as though I had never left!
