Alfred burnt the cakes or a bad back blog

Wanted to bake a loaf & blip it. Thought I would document the progress. Flour & yeast rose wonderfully (as in photo>) then popped it in the oven & sat down to watch the international football games completely forgetting to turn down the temperature after 10 minutes & remove the loaves after a further 15. Result not impressive (but edible) so could not Blip.
Germany only drew against the biggest rivals, Holland and a few weeks ago had a disaster against Sweden (4-4) but why oh why can't England (ever) perform on the international circuit? 1966 is a while ago now!
