Here for a few days

S' mother is not bouncing back as quickly or as well as she has done before. She remains breathless and less able to even walk around the hospital bed. Just a couple of weeks ago she was able to walk around her garden with S' brother. This afternoon, I took Mr H across the bridge so he could visit his Great Grandma; it was lovely to see him and her talking (even though teenage mumbling is hard for her to decipher even with her hearing aids). 

Earlier S and I (taking Young L with us) had gone to the Auckland International Airport to meet Tsuken who is over from Sydney until Sunday. His Air New Zealand Flight was almost exactly on time, and we had only a little time to wait after I took this photo.
