Last New York day

Except for Will (up at his normal 3am), we had a spot of a lie in our appartment. Left at 10ish (Will already halfway through his day) for the Highline. Do google it, it's a great use of space but dare I hesitate to say they could have done some less repetitive planting? In a world of over achievements though it was good to get it ticked off. Then to the Museum of Math (2 points) which was small, full of interesting stuff and also the most annoying little children who were blindly pressing stuff instead of working things out. Will and I got hugely cross at the six year old who wouldn't get off the the puzzle we really wanted to go on. In summary, a good way to spend an hour but costs money and is full of tiny kids.

Then an alfresco lunch in Maddison square park to meet the whole party's tastes - options were McDonald's or sushi. I will leave you to work it out.....

Spot more shopping and my now well established capture of a car to drive us home from 7th avenue - I tell you, I am a proper expert at the whole bloody thing now. I think I might actually love New York.

Everyone lay on their beds to regenerate then spit spot out to a bloody lovely dinner place on the South Street Seaport place. Like the south bank or something. I was so busy looking at the beautiful face of our server, I hadn't considered he was actually a man until my mum pointed it out. Top dinner, he was lovely to us, Will was essentially past it (obvs) and then we came home for packing and stuff.

No real points awarded today such is our absolute immersion in the American way of life. Although I have mainly had points deducted for the use of lift and toilet. I have tried to point out I can't lose points in my own game to no avail.

Tomorrow, transition day!! A couple of extras. That lady in the white dress, that's me, the one in the yellow is my mum. Obvs.
