Busy

A frustrating day trying to sort out a couple of things for mum, that would have taken only a short while if only humans would answer the phone............you seem to spend an eternity waiting for the call to be answered only to have to listen to a recorded message about how they use your data, then listen to a long list of options and remember the correct number to press...........then it rings and rings again, or worse still an electronic voice tells you that you're 6th in the queue...........do you hang on in the hope that the previous callers will be quick or hang up ........or do you hang up and go through all the rigmarole again a bit later?
I choose the former and eventually get through only to be told the person I needed to speak to was in a meeting and would call me back, grrrrrrrrrrr!!
The other call was no better and took ages to sort out.............years ago it would all have been dealt with in 10 minutes but instead I've spent most of the day either on the phone or writing emails ( but got the things sorted in the end), so the brief time I spent in the garden taking this was very welcome :-)
