Frosting...

...a courgette and lemon cake. The frosting is butter, soft cheese, sugar & lemon juice.

This cake has a lot of butter in it!

First time trying the recipe to use some of the courgettes from the allotment.

Baked the cakes before we headed off for a wee cinema trip to see Incredibles 2 and frosted it on our return home...so all ready too late tonight to try a bit...that will need to wait until tomorrow.

Incredibles 2 was really good, really enjoyed it as did MrR and the boys...Es didn’t fancy it.

Grateful for a wee trip to the cinema and for courgettes from the allotment to allow us to try new recipes.
