Bats in the Belfry

Well, one bat above the pulpit, to be precise! After hearing about the bat/bat pee woes at Stobo Kirk the past week or so from thebear, I decided to stick my head in as I was passing and see. Right enough, you couldn’t really miss it, there’s a lovely wee bat on the wall above the pulpit. Not sure I got to sense the aroma of bat pee though.

It’s a lovely little Kirk too, lots of interesting old bits of crosses/bases (I think) and inscribed stones.
