Bonxie

Or great skua, as it is also known.  On Hoy again to monitor the white-tailed eagles, all of which stayed far beyond my lens. The conditions were very poor and it took a while before we saw any of the birds- I found the male on a crag. The female came in too and then I located the two chicks on other perches. No flying from them though- they might have been in the air earlier and were done for the day before I turned up.
