Birds of a Feather

I was en-route to take a couple of shots of the river beside my house, when a small helicopter came along and disturbed the huge flock of geese in the fields downstream. So rather than the photograph I was going to blip (that will be another day) here is just a fraction of the flocks that took to the air in fright.

The majority rather unobligingly decided to fly off into the distance
