Manche to the Med day 11

Day 11 Marvejols to Rivière sur Tarn. 45 miles. The sun shone and the scenery was amazing. After a gentle 15 mile downhill through pretty villages we climbed 300m up to the top of the fabulous Tarn gorge where we had lunch at the appropriately named "pointe superbe" followed by ice cream. We kept the cheeky cafe cat from joining our picnic.  The views from here were stunning.  Then we cycled down 500m into the gorge via a switch back series of hairpin bends varying from 7% to 11% - great fun. Actually not scary at all. After 11 miles of gradually descending the gorge we reached our campsite at Rivière sur Tarn. It's a lovely site with river side camping, a nice pool and a bar and everything but the price was eye watering, we are now in the south in full holiday season.
