Mow the tow????

Just could not settle last night, downstairs at 3am for a cuppa, finally got off after that, needless to say feeling a bit jaded today :-/

The grey skies havent done much to lift my spirits either, so we decided to get out for a few hours.

A drive over to Rufford, Fettler's Wharf, brunch in Tastebuds Cafe, followed by a walk along the towpath. There are always narrowboats moored up along this stretch of canal, but not normally equipped with what looked like lawnmowers.....maybe they have a new rule, moor up and mow the bank??!!

Got most of our 10k steps in, alhough there wasnt much to see to be honest, so not the best day for photography, light wasnt great.

We called into our newly christened favourite coffee roastery on the way back, as I was in much need of a caffeine injection ;-). I had the most delicious flat white whilst sat flicking through Vogue, hub read the paper.

Had a little wander into one or two of the little shops, found a lovely little card that I had been looking for, and treated ourselves to a homemade Lancashire Hotpot for dinner later.

It started to rain on the drive home......pretty dismal now, although still quite warm.

Early to bed for me tonight I think!!!
