Damsel

We both felt the need to get out of town, however briefly - got a car and went up to the Red Moss near Thriepmuir reservoir. It was quite breezy so we saw several damselflies and lots of peacock butterflies clinging on tight to various flowers and leaf stalks to avoid being blown away.

Mmm, it was good to walk amongst lots of rustling trees and get some lungfuls of fresh air.
