Evening Sail

The Stromness yoles gather for a race on Thursday evenings. We hadn't taken any sailing gear with us so we watched the races from the hill overlooking the harbour. This is Ian Richardson's boat, a double ended version of the one he's building for us,  which often wins races.Several people we chatted to told us that he's building another yole before he retires and that it's his best yet. We smiled and told them that we were very glad to hear it because he was building it for us :))
