Katoomba Laneway

There are quite a few laneways in Katoomba.
This is Bursill Lane, leading to the Library and cultural centre.
Looks much better in the mist, of course.

Fires all over the state today.
It's been very windy, and we're in the middle of a severe drought, so I suppose we could have expected it, but winter bushfires are extremely unusual, and certainly unwelcome.
