You're Gonna Hear Me Rooooar

I get pictures like this texted to me throughout the day. Basically, it is what the lads have been up to with Cazza.

You may take it from this picture that Jasper was being quite vocal about his needs again today.

As for me, I had a pretty quiet day at work. I spent most of it doing testing, which is a very dull and brain-free occupation. But it passed the time and I listened to Karina Longworth's podcast You Must Remember This which is about old-timey movies and I enjoy it a lot.

Karina has lots of irritating catchphrases which she uses with no trace of irony. But I'm coming around to her. It is sort of the appeal of the thing. 

"Welcome to another episode of You Must Remember This..." she starts with a voice that sounds as if she is on really good drugs. "The podcast dedicated to the secret and/or forgotten stories of Hollywood's first century.... Join us... won't you....?"

She sounds like a cult leader.

But still, her stories and/or secrets are usually pretty interesting. And when you listen to 5 or 6 episodes in a row (as I do) it gets to the point where you start thinking about joining in with Karina's introduction at the start of every episode, if not for the fact that you would get looks.

She recently did a series on Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi. And here Fat Pete, I am looking at you. I think you might enjoy Karina's honeyed tones. 

I should warn you however, that her Bette Davis impression sounds exactly like her Katherine Hepburn sounds exactly like her Lauren Bacall. Fortunately she has never attempted all three at once.
