Pelicans!

I was very happy to see three pelicans on my walk with my colleagues at lunchtime. The last time I went to St James's Park the birds were nowhere to be seen.

We had a bit of a long route to the park due to Whitehall and Horse Guard's Parade being cordoned off after the suspected terrorist incident at Westminster this morning. Thank goodness no one was killed. It's a tad unnerving to see so many armed officers (with big guns!) on every corner, but I guess it's also reassuring. My mum texted this morning to see if I was OK, but I hadn't even got dressed let alone left the house.

This is the first blip in a long while that you can scroll a year back all the way to 2007. I've done some backblipping.
