Cézanne’s House
We were in Aix-en-Provence today and walked up the hill to see the house where Cézanne lived. His studio has been preserved more or less as he left it when he died in 1906. The outside of the house hasn’t changed at all either, though the trees have grown round it and the narrow lane which used to run past is now a busy road (but named Avenue Paul Cézanne).
